Our inspiration came from artists Beci Orpin - for her clusters of simple shapes and colour. And textile artists Elizabeth Pawle and Liz Payne - both who I found on instagram and fell in love with their bright, textural embroidery fabric designs. The intention was to create a pattern focusing on shape, line, layering and colour.
